So we're walking into Value Village and the kids point out a figurine in the display case. "Hey Dad, that's the piece you just mutated!" Yes it is...but why is it in the display case? Because it's chipped but still worth $35. If it's worth $35 at Value Village...what's it worth for real? I ask the gentleman (who was quite knowledgeable for a Value Village employee) who informs me it's a Hummel. Apparantly the piece I just mutated (had it been a legitimate figurine and not a knock off) would have been worth $200-$300 depending on condition!
